Feel like nature and emotions? Tryhydrospeed, the river discipline that makes you feel on your skin all the power of a river in flood!
Withhydrospeed, you will be completely immersed in the waters of the river and you will tackle the current free-body, with only the help of the river bob and the strength of your legs.
You will move through the rapids, avoid obstacles, let yourself go to the rush of the water and live apure adrenalin experience in direct contact with theAdda and the nature of the Valtellina.
What we will do
We will meet at the river sports centre in Castione Andevenno, in the province of Sondrio. Here we will get to know our instructor who, before accompanying us into the waters of theAdda, will give a short theoretical lesson on hydrospeed.
The instructor will teach us how to manoeuvre the river bob, perform the correct movements and explain the behaviour to maintain during the activity to ensure our safety and the safety of those around us.
Once equipped with wetsuit, fins, helmet and life jacket we will be ready to grab the bob and dive in for our hydrospeed descent. The route we will face will be of basic level but full of excitement and fun!
We'll dodge the rocks, master the rapids and get carried away by the power of the river. the power of the river: a fast and intense descent that we will hardly be able to forget. hard to forget. The instructor will follow us on board a kayak and will be our point of reference for any needs.
In all, the activity lasts about 1½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is ideal for trying hydrospeed for the first time. The minimum age to participate is 14. It is not obligatory to know how to swim, but good aquatic skills are required.

Attention. Please arrive approximately 45 minutes before the start time of the activity.
This activity can be booked from April to September, subject to weather and environmental conditions. In low season, the activity is confirmed on reaching a minimum of 2 participants (if you don't reach this number, you may be joined to another group, subject to availability).
The activity may be subject to change depending on the river's hydrometric flow rate, at the instructors' sole discretion.
Showers and changing rooms are available at the sports centre.
On request, it is possible to combine the activity with a wine tasting in a local winery at a cost of €25 per person (payable locally).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
