Who said ice is only for gin and tonics?
In Andalo, in the province of Trento, you can experience the thrill of climbing a real icefall! You will learn the basics of climbing together with a mountain guide and use ice axes and crampons to ascend the wall. And to make the experience even more unforgettable, a magnificent natural landscape will open up around you.
Leave the usual cocktail behind and get your fill of new emotions!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Andalo (TN). We will be welcomed by the mountain guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
After meeting up, we will get into our car and drive to the activity location in about 10 minutes. Once there, we will find ourselves at the foot of a majestic icefall and, after a short briefing on the use of the equipment (harness, ice picks, ropes and crampons - included) that we will be given, we will begin the actual experience.
Together with the guide, we will learn the basics of ice climbing: the correct use of ice axes and crampons, basic knots and belaying techniques. Then we will practice and, between climbs, we will take a few minutes to catch our breath and observe the beautiful mountain landscape that surrounds us.
Finally, we will return to our starting point, satisfied and happy to have abandoned our routine for a few hours!
The activity will last about 3½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 18.
No previous climbing experience is required, but it is necessary to be in good physical shape and used to the sport.
Other information
The experience takes place from December to February, on Mondays and Wednesdays, and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
Any accompanying persons with leashed dogs may be present during the activity.
On-site parking spaces are available for a fee. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
