Full description
No more monotonous weekends! Add a dash of adventure to your weekends with thisice climbing!
You can try your hand at climbing one of the icefalls in Val Brenta, in the magnificent setting of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park . You will be surrounded by a very impressive snowy landscape and, thanks to the mountain guide who will accompany you, you will be able to learn many climbing techniques.
What are you waiting for? Come and create unforgettable memories!
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Madonna di Campiglio (TN), where our mountain guide will be waiting for us. After an initial welcome, we will take the car and drive for about 20 minutes to reach Val Brenta, at an altitude of about 1,100 metres.
Once there, we will walk for about 1 hour to get to the ice flows that interrupt the valley and have an average height of about 60 metres. At that point, the guide will hand us thenecessary equipment (ice axes, crampons, helmet, harness and ropes) and explain how to use it.
Having gained some confidence with the ice axes and crampons, we start to climb. The guide will be at our side and will teach us different climbing techniques and various manoeuvres for rope management. The metres we climb will depend on our skills and our spirit of adventure: usually, beginners climb up to 10 metres.
We will have fun testing ourselves until lunchtime, then we will take a break of about 40 minutes to eat our packed lunch (not included), rest a bit and admire the magnificent landscape that will surround us. In fact, we will be immersed in the Adamello Brenta Nature Park and, all around us, we will be able to see the snow-capped peaks of the Brenta andAdamello Dolomites.
Finally, we will set off again to return to our starting point, which we will reach in about 1 hour. The activity, including transfers and stops, will last a total of 7 hours.
