Full description
In winter, nature is transformed and areas such as the Val di Non are covered in a fresh, white mantle of snow. The waterfalls freeze over, becoming expanses of ice on whichclimbing is possible.
This experience is really exciting, perfect if you have already experienced rock climbing and wish to try something different. With ice axes and crampons, you will climb ice walls testing your courage and physical abilities in a completely safe condition, together with a mountain guide.
Ice climbing will introduce you to a winter and outdoor sport unlike any other and full of adrenaline. Book your place now!
What we will do
The meeting is at 9 a.m. in Fondo (TN). We will be welcomed by a mountain guide who will give us a briefing to explain the basics of this discipline and hand over the necessary equipment (included).
After this first phase, we will reach the base of the waterfalls in about 45 minutes. From here we will first do an ice test and then beginclimbing with crampons and ice axes.
We will climb, descend, learn how to use ice axes in progression and crampons and general handling on snowy terrain. This will be our chance to test our courage and our coordination skills.
Finally, we will return to the starting point at around 1pm. The activity lasts a total of 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for those who already have experience with rock (or indoor) climbing. The minimum age required to participate is 14 years.

The activity can be booked from December to March, subject to weather conditions.
Important: ice climbing is an activity that is strongly conditioned by the weather. Safety first: if conditions are not ideal for the activity near Fondo, the guide will contact you to suggest another location.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
