Full description
Sail peacefully along the coastline of theCapo Carbonara Marine Protected Area on board a 5.5-metre, 40 hp dinghy.
Plan your route and stops freely: you can choose whether to head west to Torre delle Stelle or sail south to visit the most beautiful bays of the promontory as far as Punta Molentis andSerpentara Island.
The dinghy is available for hire for 5 hours during which you can plough through the waves even if you do not have a licence. The only difficulty will be choosing the coves in which to stop because one will be more beautiful than the other!
What we will do
I will meet you at the port of Villasimius. I will accompany you to the boat and give you some instructions on how to manoeuvre it safely.
When your whole group is on board, you can start the engines and leave the harbour. You will be able to sail south and stop at the most beautiful coves on the Capo Carbonara promontory, such as Cala Caterina and Cala Burroni, which are usually little frequented and have crystal-clear water. If you love snorkelling on the seabed of theIsola dei Cavoli you will find a paradise for your eyes: you will be enchanted by the incredible number of fish and aquatic plants you will see with your mask.
If you have time, you can also reach Punta Molentis and theisland of Serpentara to admire its curious sinuous and elongated shape from the sea.
Alternatively, you can sail west to Torre delle Stelle, without missing a stop at Spiaggia del Riso, Porto Sa Ruxi, Capo Boi and Solanas Beach to take a dip and swim in the crystal-clear waters.
The 5.5-metre dinghy has a 40-hp engine and can also be driven by those without a licence.
The boat will be at your disposal for 5 hours and must be returned to the harbour by the agreed time.
Who it is aimed at
There is no minimum age required to board the dinghy, but you must be at least 18 years old to take the helm. A boating licence is not required.
Other information
It is possible to hire the dinghy every day from April to October, subject to weather and sea conditions.
The boat available for hire is a 5.5-metre, 40-hpBwa 550 dinghy . It is equipped with an awning, bow sundeck, deck shower and ice bag.
The boat is delivered with a full tank of fuel; on return you will have to pay a fee corresponding to the fuel consumed.
At the port you will be asked for a 200€ deposit, which will be returned to you if the dinghy is undamaged on your return.
Dogs are not allowed on board.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
