How about turning an ordinary day into an adventure fit for real captains?
In Como (CO), a nimble 40 CV inflatable boat awaits you, perfect for gliding through sapphire-blue waters, past majestic historic villas and picturesque bays – even without a boat licence. On board, you’ll find every comfort: a sun awning, spacious sun decks and a navigation kit.
You can choose between a 4-hour or 8-hour package and explore the lake in complete freedom!
What we will do
Please arrive 20 minutes before the scheduled time at the meeting point in Como (CO). Here, the rental company will hand over the inflatable boat to you and, during a comprehensive briefing, explain everything you need to know about operating it and the safety regulations for boating.
The inflatable boats available ( the 4. 70 m Arimar or 4. 80 m Marylin models) are fitted with a 40 CV engine, can be operated without a licence and are ideal for groups of up to 8 people. On board you’ll find a handy sun awning, safety equipment, a satellite GPS to help you find your way with ease and, on the Arimar model, a stereo system too. Don’t forget to bring your cool bag with food and drinks for an aperitif out at sea!
Once the engines are running, you’ll be in charge of the route: you can sail towards the famous Villa del Balbianello, admire Bellagio’s historic villas from the best vantage point, or drop anchor in a quiet cove for a refreshing dip and a spot of relaxation in the sun.
At the end of the hire, you’ll need to return to the meeting point. When booking, you can choose between 4 and 8 hours’ hire (half-day or full day).
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for everyone, with no age restrictions for passengers.
No boat licence is required to drive the dinghy; you simply need to be over 18.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible and is not recommended for people with reduced mobility.
Other information
The dinghy is available for hire from April to October and can accommodate up to 8 people.
Important: fuel is not included in the hire fee and must be paid for on return, based on consumption. A security deposit of €300 (in cash or by credit card) is required upon collection, which will be refunded at the end of the hire period. You must remain barefoot on board at all times.
Dogs are not permitted on board.
The meeting point is accessible by public transport; free parking is available on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
