There’s an unwritten rule when you’re on holiday: the most beautiful cove is always the one you can’t reach.
Unless, of course, you’ve got a dinghy.
Hire a 5. 8-metre inflatable boat, ideal for groups of up to 7 people, and become a captain for a day, with the task of finding the perfect spot for your next swim. No boat licence required!
What we will do
Please arrive at the meeting point in Ragusa (RG) at the time specified. Here, the skipper will hand over the boat to you and explain everything you need to know about operating it and the rules for safe sailing. After this quick but comprehensive briefing, you’ll be ready to set sail.
The dinghy is 5. 80 metres long and equipped with all the necessary amenities: a steel awning, a fresh-water shower, comfortable cushions with a spacious sun deck, and a Bluetooth sound system so you can listen to your favourite playlists. You’ll also be provided with an ice-free cool box to keep your drinks chilled.
The 40 CV engine will allow you to navigate easily along the coastline without a boat licence. You can therefore plan your ideal itinerary, exploring the stunning beaches and coves of the Iblean coast.
At the end of your adventure, you’ll return the boat to the starting point. When booking, you can choose between 4 and 8 hours’ hire.
Who it is aimed at
You do not need a boat licence to drive the dinghy; you just need to be over 18. Passengers of all ages are welcome on board.
The boat is not accessible to wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility.
Other information
The boat is available for hire from May to October and can accommodate up to 7 people.
You can choose between a half-day hire (4 hours) or a full-day hire (8 hours) by selecting your preference in the booking box. The scheduled times are 9. 00–13. 00 or 14. 00–18. 00 for a half-day hire, and 9. 00–18. 00 for a full-day hire.
Important: please remember to bring a valid form of ID with you. A security deposit of €50 ( in cash or by card) is required at the time of hire, to be paid on site.
Fuel is not included in the hire price and will be charged on return based on consumption, payable in cash or by card.
Dogs are not permitted on board.
A skipper service is available on request and payable on site; to book this, please contact the organiser using the contact details sent by email with your booking confirmation.
Free and paid parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
