Full description
When was the last time you did something you've never done before?
If the answer doesn't convince you, it's time to make up for it with adive in Cala Pisana in Lampedusa! You will discover what it means to breathe underwater and swim side by side with groupers, moray eels and parrotfish, without the need for a licence or previous experience!
In fact, you will have a dedicated instructor at your side to spend 20 minutes in the magical underwater world.
What we will do
The appointment is at the time selected during the booking process at the meeting point in Lampedusa (AG). Awaiting us will be the instructor who will guide us through this exciting underwater experience!
To begin, we will put on our wetsuits and receive an introductory briefing: the basics of underwater breathing, how the equipment works, and safety rules will be explained to us.
After the briefing, we will enter the water directly from the beach of Cala Pisana, a wonderful natural pool perfect for those who want to approach the underwater world for the first time. Before fully immersing ourselves, we will try out the regulator by snorkelling, becoming familiar with underwater breathing.
Then it will be time to descend slowly, each in the hands of our instructor. We will touch a maximum depth of 6 metres, exploring a seabed of sand and rocks where we can observe the wonderful local marine fauna including groupers, moray eels and parrot fish!
After about 20 minutes of diving, we will return to the surface and enjoy our last moments in the water before returning to the meeting point. The experience will last about 1 hour in total .
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 10; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied on site by a responsible adult to sign a release form.
Good aquatics skills are required to participate in the activity.
A medical certificate is required in the case of illnesses such as asthma, heart problems, epilepsy and diabetes.
The activity is suitable for first-time divers and no licence is required to participate.
Other information
The experience takes place from April until October.
Free and/or paid parking spaces are available on site.
On site, there are changing rooms with toilets, showers and lockers for storing personal items.
Any accompanying persons can wait on the beach where the activity takes place.
