Full description
Do you sometimes feel like a fish out of water on land?
If the sea is your second home, then it's time to dive in and take thatscuba dive you've always dreamed of!
Our instructors are waiting for you in Lampedusa for a sea baptism during which you will swim for 20 minutes underwater among groupers, moray eels and (with a bit of luck), turtles and dolphins!
What we will do
The appointment is at the time selected during the booking process at the meeting point in Lampedusa (AG). Awaiting us will be the instructor who will guide us on this underwater adventure!
After a briefing and dressing session, where we will learn the basics of underwater breathing and safety rules, we will board a boat or dinghy. We will move offshore to one of Lampedusa's coves, chosen according to the best sea conditions.
Once at the dive site, we will try out the regulator while snorkelling, to get familiar with the equipment. Then, each accompanied by his or her instructor, we will fully dive to a maximum depth of 6 metres.
During the 20-minute dive, we will be able to observe the wonderful marine fauna of the Mediterranean up close: groupers, moray eels, parrot fish and, with a bit of luck, turtles and dolphins!
At the end of the dive, we will re-board to return to the meeting point. The experience will last about 4 hours in total .
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 10; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied on site by a responsible adult to sign a release form.
Good aquatics skills are required to participate in the activity.
A medical certificate is required in the case of illnesses such as asthma, heart problems, epilepsy and diabetes.
The activity is suitable for first-time divers and no licence is required to participate.
Other information
The experience takes place from April until October.
Free and/or paid parking spaces are available on site.
There are changing rooms with toilets, showers and lockers for storing personal items on site.
