Would you like to experience the thrill of gliding on water thanks to the wind?
In Dervio, on Lake Como, a 1½-hour introductory wing foil lesson with a certified instructor awaits you. You will learn the basics of this sport on land, during a 30-minute theoretical explanation. Then you will try to put what you have learned into practice by entering the water and trying your hand at wing handling!

What we will do
The meeting will be 30 minutes before the scheduled time at the meeting point in Dervio (LC). A certified VDWS instructor will be waiting for us, ready to guide us in this new wing foil adventure.
After an initial welcoming moment, we will listen to a theoretical explanation lasting about 30 minutes, during which we will learn about the safety rules to be observed during the activity and the operation of theequipment provided (sail, board, wetsuit, life jacket and helmet with transceiver).
We will then board a rubber dinghy that will take us to the centre of Lake Como, which will be the backdrop to the practical part of our experience, during which we will learn how to control the sail and, if we wish, we will be able to get on the board to experience theadrenaline of being blown by the wind.
During this time, the instructor will communicate with us via a transceiver placed in the helmet and will tell us what positions to hold and what movements to make to control the wing foil.
At the end of the practical test, we will return to the shore aboard the dinghy.
The experience will last a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The lesson is suitable for everyone from the age of 10.
It is not necessary to know how to swim to take part in this activity.
This experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first time in wing foil; it is not recommended for those with previous experience.

The activity is available from May to September.
Lessontimes may vary depending on weather and wind conditions, at the instructor's discretion.
Please note! When booking, you can select up to a maximum of 3 participants. The in-water practical test will take place individually, but you can share the experience with relatives or friends who choose to participate with you in the wing foil lesson.
Any accompanying persons are welcome, as long as they stay ashore; there is a bar on site.
Lockers for storing personal items are available on site.
An additional pick-up service by dinghy from Varenna, Bellagio or Menaggio can be requested by contacting the instructor in advance at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.
Free and paid parking spaces are available on site. In addition, the meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
