Climb aboard an off-road vehicle and let us take you on a discovery tour of Etna Park and the Bove Valley.
Enjoy anexcursion on dirt roads along panoramic paths and past dormant craters.
When you reach 2000 metres in altitude you can enjoy a lunch of typical products, discovering the authentic flavours of Sicily.
What we will do
We will meet at 8:30 a.m. in Catania. Once the group is formed and we have met the guides who will accompany us during the tour, we will board the off-road vehicle.
We will reach Etna Park where we will discover ancient basaltic lava formations and lava flow caves. The guide will accompany us along dirt tracks and scenic paths where we can savour the scents of Sicily. We will also venture into centuries-old forests before reaching areas characterised by numerous dormant craters.
We will then admire the Valle del Bove, which lies on the eastern slope of the volcano. It is a large horseshoe-shaped depression where several levels of ancient rocky outcrops allow us to reconstruct the volcano's evolutionary history.
Once we reach an altitude of 2,000 metres, we will stop for lunch at an affiliated establishment (home-made starter, a first course, dessert, drinks and coffee). We will also have the opportunity to taste many local products, including wines, liqueurs and honey.
After lunch we will return to the valley and return to Catania at 14:30.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is suitable for everyone without age limits.
The fee for children up to 2 years old includes a car seat.

The excursion takes place all year round.

It is not possible to participate in the excursion wearing shoes with heels, sandals, flip-flops. It is not possible to take suitcases or trolleys on board the jeeps.
