Get ready to experience the thrills of a water adventure in the splendid setting of Valtellina: a kayak descent on the Adda will be an experience to remember!
You will let yourself go with the flow of the river's waters and, paddle after paddle, you will realise how much the natural element is a constant source of surprises. Between the wonder of the landscapes and theadrenalin rush of the rapids and current sections, it will be impossible not to be amazed!
No problem if you're a beginner, our experienced instructors will teach you basic kayak handling techniques so that you can enjoy maximum fun while remaining safe. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
We will meet at the sports centre in Castione Andevenno, in the province of Sondrio. Time to form the group, get acquainted with the instructors and come equipped with everything we need, and we will move by shuttle to the embarkation point on theAdda.
Before boarding the kayaks, the instructors will give a lesson on paddling techniques and basic manoeuvres. We will be using a stable and easily steered type of boat, also suitable for first-time paddlers. Everyone ready? Paddle in hand, we're off to the water!
During this exciting descent we will alternate between stretches in the current and moments of 'dead', i.e. points where the water is flat and you can stay in contemplation of the landscape. For an adventure that can be described as such, there will be no lack ofadrenalin from the rapids and the fun of a bumpy ride, full of splashing and laughter!
The activity lasts a total of about 2 hours. Upon returning to the sports centre, showers and changing rooms are available.

This activity is at an easy level and is open to everyone from 10 years old and up.

Attention. Please arrive at least 45 minutes before the start time of the activity.
This activity is bookable from April to September, subject to weather and environmental conditions. In low season, the activity is confirmed on reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
You can choose to take the excursion in a single kay ak or in a double kayak: you can choose at the time of booking.
The activity may vary according to the river's hydrometric flow rate, at the instructors' discretion.
On request, it is possible to combine the activity with a wine tasting in a local winery at a cost of €10 per person (payable locally).
