Kayaks, secret coves and... an aperitif overlooking the sea: do you need anything else to be happy?
Get ready for a unique experience among the natural wonders of the Tigullio Gulf! With this kayaking excursion in the Baia dell'Oro (Golden Bay), you will paddle among cliffs covered in Mediterranean vegetation, crystal-clear inlets and small ravines accessible only from the sea.
You will be accompanied by an expert guide who will help you discover the coast between Sestri Levante and Punta Manara, telling you anecdotes and curiosities about the area. 2½ hours between nature and taste!
What we will do
We will meet 10 minutes before the indicated time at Riva Trigoso, a small hamlet of Sestri Levante (GE).
We will begin with a short technical briefing, which will help you understand how to steer this small boat by handling the double paddles, with two paddles placed at either end of the handle. You will wear a life jacket, rock shoes, and place your personal items inside a floating bag, which is completely waterproof.
After a quick acclimatisation, we will set sail together to discover the Bay of Gold, in a Special Area of Conservation that is home to 80% of the Mediterranean's marine biodiversity.
Moving away from the beach, we will admire the majestic mass of Punta Manara, a promontory thick with vegetation that separates the village of Riva Trigoso from Sestri Levante. If we wish, we can also stop for a swim in the crystal-clear waters of Sestri Levante.
During the navigation, the guide will show us the most fascinating corners of this coastline, including panoramic viewpoints and hidden coves. In one of these we will stop to enjoy an aperitif with seasonal products from small local shops, such as fresh focaccia, cold meats, or local cheeses, accompanied by a bottle of sparkling white wine, selected from local wineries.
The activity will end with the return to the meeting point and will last a total of 2½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone over the age of 10. Minors must be accompanied by an adult at the venue to sign the necessary forms.
It is not required to know how to swim.

The tour is available daily from April to November and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
The meeting point is also easily accessible by public transport. On-site parking is available for a fee.
There are 6 double kayaks and 8 single kayaks for a total of 20 participants maximum. In addition, it provides a changing room as well as activity-specific equipment.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
