Learn to kayak on the Sesia river in Piedmont with a 2½-hour lesson and immerse yourself in an unspoilt and magical setting.
You will learn how to paddle correctly and move safely on the water. And that's not all: since it is a private, individual lesson, you will have a dedicated instructor who will customise the lesson according to your goals and needs.
You will thus receive technical insights and suggestions focused on you, so that you can learn to kayak in no time. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
The meeting is at the Scopa centre , in the province of Vercelli. On your arrival you will be welcomed by theinstructor, who will provide you with all thenecessary equipment (included) and accompany you to the chosen river point.
The instructor will teach you paddling technique and the correct movements to move safely and quickly. For beginners, there will be an introduction to the discipline and an in-depth theoretical examination, but there will also be practice and fun in the water!
Those who already have some experience, on the other hand, will be able to take advantage of the individual lesson to improve technique and style, both in flat and current water, and thus grow as a canoeist. The instructor will be there to give you personalised advice and suggestions.
The activity lasts approximately 2½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone over the age of 10. To participate in the activity, it is necessary to know how to swim.
Other information
The lesson can be booked from April to September, weather permitting, and is conducted on an individual basis. If you would like to take the lesson with friends or new adventurous companions, take a look at the Group Kayaking Lesson.
Equipment hire is included in the fee.
The centre has fully equipped toilets, showers and changing rooms . In addition, at the end of the activity, you can stay at the centre and enjoy the green spaces, bar service, barbecue area, volleyball and five-a-side football pitch, foosball table, and relaxation areas for sunbathing.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
