An experience combining kayaking and snorkelling will be the perfect opportunity to discover what lies above and below the surface of the crystal-clear waters of the Tigullio Gulf.
All you have to do is reach Riva Trigoso, on the Ligurian coast, and climb aboard a comfortable kayak: the green and majestic promontory of Punta Manara is waiting for you to experience extraordinary moments together.
In a 2½-hour tour you will learn to paddle through the waves of the sea before beginning an exciting observation of the seabed, among fish and underwater vegetation. So, are you with us?
What we will do
We will meet at the time selected during the booking process in Riva Trigoso, a small hamlet of Sestri Levante (GE).
We will begin with a short technical and cognitive briefing, during which you will also be given information about the underwater plants of this stretch of the Ligurian coast, which is particularly rich in posidonia.
You will learn a few tricks for using the kayak and paddles effectively, and you will be shown the one-sided masks to use during snorkelling. After putting on your snorkelling shoes and lifejacket, you will store your personal belongings inside a floating, fully waterproof bag to carry on board.
You are then ready to paddle on the Ligurian waters: your guide will show you Punta Manara, a green landscape area located halfway between Riva Trigoso and Sestri Levante. After a short break on the pebbles of a charming cove, it will be time to put on your masks and set off to discover the seabed.
During the underwater journey, you will even be able to talk to the other participants thanks to the walkie talkie system with which the masks are equipped, to share thoughts and possible sightings.
A little later you will finally return, between one paddle and another, to your starting point on the beach at Riva Trigoso. The activity lasts a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 6 years old and up, but knowing how to swim is required.
The minimum age required to paddle independently is 14 years old. Younger children(6 to 13 years old) can paddle without paddling in a double kayak with an adult, but can then participate in the snorkelling activity.
Other information
The tour is available every day from April to November, subject to weather and sea conditions, and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
The meeting point is also easily accessible by public transport.
The facility has 6 double kayaks and 8 single kayaks, for a total of 20 participants maximum. It also provides a changing room as well as specific equipment for the activity.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
