Why beat the heat by the pool when you can do it by paddling?
On this 2. 5-hour kayaking tour along the coast of Levanto, you’ll explore the Ligurian coastline, cool off in the area’s magnificent waters with a spot of snorkelling, and enjoy a delicious traditional aperitif on the beach.
If you were looking for a way to add a bit of a twist to your summer, you’ve found it!
What we will do
Please arrive 10 minutes before the time stated at the meeting point in Levanto (SP). There, we’ll be met by the guide who’ll accompany us on our excursion and provide us with all the necessary equipment ( included) , including a kayak, paddle, life jacket and a handy waterproof bag.
Before getting into the kayaks, we’ll have a 10–15-minute briefing on the beach. The guide will give a theoretical explanation of basic paddling techniques, correct positioning and safety rules, and we’ll also have a chance to practise a little in the water to get used to the kayaks.
Once ready, we’ll set off on our adventure, paddling along the Ligurian coast. Along the way, we’ll make two short stops to rest and admire the stunning surrounding scenery, whilst the guide reveals the secrets of this stretch of coastline.
We’ll then reach a beach on the edge of the Cinque Terre National Park, where we’ll stop for about 30 minutes. Here, we’ll put on our masks and snorkels (included) to take a dip and admire the rich marine life on the seabed. After the swim, we’ll relax with a tasty local aperitif (included) featuring Ligurian focaccia and pizza with Genoese pesto, accompanied by an Italian beer or a craft lemonade from Portofino.
Finally, we’ll get back into the kayaks to return to the starting point.
The activity will last a total of two and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for those aged 12 and over; those under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The activity is not accessible to people with mobility impairments and is not suitable for pregnant women.
You must be able to swim to take part in this experience.
Other information
The activity runs from mid-May to mid-September and is confirmed provided there is a minimum of two participants.
The route and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
Single and double kayaks are available and will be allocated by the organisers subject to availability and at their discretion.
No alternatives are available for the aperitif in the event of allergies or intolerances.
During the activity, the guide will take photos and videos, which will be sent to participants at the end of the tour.
At the meeting point, there are changing facilities, showers (available at the adjacent public beach) and a storage area for valuables.
Dogs are not permitted.
Paid parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
