Kayak and snorkelling tour along the Amalfi Coast with snack

The Amalfi Coast like this, you've never seen it.

How? By kayak, participating in our excursion from Maiori: venture out in the company of a local guide, who will tell you tales and curiosities about the attractions encountered along the way. And "immerse" yourself fully in this natural setting during a swimming and snorkelling stop with a snack.

A 3-hour experience, discovering this corner of Campania!

What we will do

The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Maiori (SA). We will be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us on this kayaking adventure!

After a brief explanation of the itinerary and a short introductory lesson on navigation and safety at sea, we will be ready to set off in the direction of Atrani.

As we kayak along the coast, we will be able to admire how the Monti Lattari dive into the sea, creating a spectacle that is never monotonous or predictable! We will pass through Minori, a village that during the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies was considered one of the main centres of handmade pasta production.

We will see and pass sea caves of all shapes and sizes, freshwater waterfalls flowing directly into the sea such as Marmorata, hidden beaches accessible only by sea. We will see numerous private villas clinging to the rocks, as well as the 'terraced' lemon houses that morphologically characterise the area, testifying to the great adaptability of the coastal population.

Among the many watchtowers we will see along the Amalfi Coast, the tower now known asVilla "O'Scarpariello" stands out, introducing us to the last part of our journey via Castiglione di Ravello, a small beach where we will stop for a short break, ideal for snorkelling thanks to its crystal-clear waters.

Finally we will reach Atrani, one of the smallest towns in Italy and cradle of ancient traditions, history and local legends. We will then enjoy the return to Maiori, our starting point, admiring a different perspective of the landscape.

Thekayak excursion will last 3 hours; the total experience will last 3½ hours.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is suitable for ages 12 and up; children under 18 will participate together with an adult on board a double kayak.

A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate.

Swimming skills are required to participate.

The experience is not recommended for people with mobility problems, people with back problems, people with heart or other ailments, people who suffer from seasickness, women who are six months pregnant.

Other information

The experience takes place from May to October. The duration of the excursion varies depending on the number and experience level of the participants.

On-site parking is available for a fee; the meeting point can be reached by public transport.

The centre has single kayaks and/or double kayaks available: you can communicate your preference but allocation will be at the guide's discretion.

There is a changing room with shower, toilet and storage for personal items on site. On site there is a lido with an affiliated restaurant: contact the guide at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail for more information.

During the excursion, souvenir photos of the experience will be taken in digital format and shared with participants via e-mail.
