Have you ever admired the sunset while paddling on a shimmering lake?
Join akayak excursion on Lake Gerosa as the sun sets behind the Sibillini Mountains. Accompanied by a guide, you will paddle across the waters of this artificial lake, surrounded by the green hills of the Marche region.
Get ready to catch every reflection in this exciting 2-hour adventure!
What we will do
We will meet 10 minutes before the indicated time at Lake Gerosa (AP).
We will be welcomed by our guide, who will provide us with the necessary equipment: kayak, paddle and life jacket. After introductions and a briefing on basic paddling techniques and safety, we will be ready to set off.
We will ascend by kayak from the beach and begin the tour by paddling up the Aso River for about 1 km, entering a picturesque natural gorge. After this first part, we will return to the lake to skirt the ravines and admire the golden reflections of the sun on the water.
Continuing along the lake, we will reach a viewpoint near the dam wall, from where we will watch the sunset. The sun will slowly set behind the Sibillini Mountains, colouring the sky and creating plays of light on the waters of the lake.
After enjoying this spectacle and completing a distance of about 5 km, we will calmly return to the beach. The activity will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable from 1 year of age; children under 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The total weight per kayak must not exceed 250 kg; each kayak can carry 2 adults and 1 child under 8 years of age.

The activity takes place from April to September and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
The organiser has 5 triple kayaks, which can carry 2 adults and 1 child under 8 each. A maximum of 10 adults and 5 children under 8 can therefore participate.
No showers, changing rooms or secure storage for personal belongings are available at the meeting point. Each kayak is equipped with a watertight hatch for storing small items.
It is possible to participate with your own dog.
There are free roadside parking spaces on site; the meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
