Kayak tour to Capri's Green Grotto

Discover the infinite beauty of Capri from a new perspective and enjoy a kayak tour to discover the coastal wonders of the island.

An expert instructor will take you on a pleasant excursion to the Grotta Verde (Green Grotto), where the water is coloured in splendid shades, and there will be a stop for a swim along the way.

An opportunity to discover the history of Capri and admire its most evocative views from the sea. Never been in a kayak before? No problem, before setting off the instructor will give a short but effective introductory lesson.

What we will do

We will meet at 11 a.m. or 3.30 p.m. on the beach at Marina Piccola, Capri. After getting to know the instructor and the rest of the group, we will have an introductory briefing on paddling techniques and safety rules.

When we are all ready, we will set off in the direction of Cala Ventroso, where we will stop for about twenty minutes to swim and listen to stories and anecdotes about Capri.

For the duration of the excursion we will be immersed in dreamlike landscapes, a treat for the eyes and soul! We will then visit the Grotta Verde (Green Grotto), so called because of the shades that the water takes on inside it, and we won't miss taking photos with the Faraglioniin the background.

The activity lasts one and a half hours in total, including the initial briefing and bathing stop, and ends with the return to the starting point.

Who it is aimed at

This activity is at an easy level and is open to everyone. The only requirements are being able to swim at least 50 metres and beingat least 14 years old.

Other information

The activity takes place from April to October, even in the rain, except in particularly bad weather conditions.

The excursion can be carried out on one- or two-seater kayaks that will be assigned by the instructor depending on availability.
