Explore the hidden wonders of the Porto Torres coastline!
This 3-hour kayaking adventure will take you from the picturesque Scoglio Lungo Beach to some of the area's most fascinating caves, such as Grotta del Ponte, Grotta dell'Inferno, Grotta degli Innamorati, and Grotte Gemelle.
Along the way, between one paddle and another, you will be able to admire Balai beach, with its characteristic little church by the sea, and listen to the stories and legends of this stretch of coastline. Are you with us?
What we will do
We will meet at 9am at the Scoglio Lungo beach in Porto Torres, recognisable by the characteristic sculpture of a dolphin positioned on a rock in the sea.
We will immediately have a short pre-departure briefing, during which I, as your instructor, will give you some tips on kayaking, paddling techniques and safety at sea.
We will then get into our individual kayaks to start skirting the beach to the east. During the approximately 8 km trip I will also act as a bit of a tour guide, sharing stories, anecdotes and legends about this stretch of coastline.
During the course of our paddle, we will make several stops to admire the incredible caves that open up in the cliffs, such as Grotta del Ponte, Grotta dell'Inferno, Grotta degli Innamorati and Grotte Gemelle. We will stop in front of the caves while staying outside, without going inside, not only for safety reasons, but also to promote the conservation of these unique marine habitats .
We will continue our adventure towards Balai beach, with a picturesque little church standing right by the sea. This will be the time for a short break and a regenerating snack.
From here we will head towards Scoglio Ricco beach, which can only be reached by sea. We will relax in front of a beautiful natural landscape, and then embark on the return journey. Returning to Scoglio Lungo, we will pass byAsinara, an island known for its wild nature.
We will return to our starting point at 12 noon, after a three-hour excursion.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, including beginners, from the age of 8.
Children up to the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent, while above the age of 12 a signed release is sufficient.
Good physical and water fitness is recommended. The experience is not suitable for those suffering from seasickness.
Other information
The excursion takes place all year round, every day, subject to weather and sea conditions, with a minimum of 2 people.
All participants will be provided with a single kayak, full equipment (jacket, buoyancy aids, buoyancy support vest, waterproof bag, wetsuit, helmet for caves), membership card and insurance. Children under the age of 12 will also be on board a single kayak, tied to an adult's kayak to allow the activity to be carried out safely.
Changing rooms and beach showers are available at the meeting point at Scoglio Lungo.
Please note: for safety and ecosystem conservation reasons, it will not be possible to kayak into the caves.
Small dogs of up to 10 kg may be brought along.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
