Get ready to paddle to a mysterious island!
With this kayak tour you can explore the fascinating island of San Paolo on Lake Iseo. An experienced guide will lead you to the most striking views of the area and let you admire the magnificent panorama of Monte Isola. You will also end the activity with an aperitif!
In 1 hour you will experience an incredible adventure between nature, fun and relaxation!
What we will do
The meeting point is 30 minutes before the time indicated on the calendar, in Pilzone d'Iseo (BS).
We will be welcomed by the guide, ready to provide us with thenecessary equipment (kayak, paddle, life jacket, waterproof bag and mobile phone holder - all included).
After a 15-20 minute briefing, during which we will learn the basics of paddling and the safety rules to follow during the activity, we will start our kayak tour heading towards Sulzano.
We will reach the island of San Paolo, which we will circumnavigate while enjoying a wonderful view of Monte Isola, with its Sanctuary of the Madonna della Ceriola. In the meantime, the guide will tell us some interesting anecdotes about the history of the area, such as the settlements there in past eras and the beauty of the sanctuary.
Then, we will paddle back to our starting point, where we will relax and enjoy an aperitif (included) of pizzas, pastries and other finger food, accompanied by a beer or soft drink.
The activity will last a total of 1 hour, during which we will cover a distance of approximately 4 km.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable from the age of 6; children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
To participate in the experience, it is advisable to know how to swim.
The maximum weight is 120 kg for single kayaks and 220 kg for double kayaks.
Other information
The activity takes place from May to June from Monday to Friday and in July and August every day except Tuesday and Thursday. It will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
Please note! The itinerary may vary depending on the participants' level of experience and weather conditions.
Toilets, mobile dressing rooms and cloakrooms for storing personal belongings are available at the meeting point.
The fee includes an aperitif. In the event of food allergies or intolerances, please inform the organisers in advance via the contact details in the booking conformation e-mail.
Dogs are allowed.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport. In addition, free parking spaces are available on site.
