Fancy an adventure out at sea?
If the answer is yes, get ready! On this kayaking excursion in the Portofino Marine Protected Area, you’ll be able to explore the area from your kayak, taking in the scenery at sunset.
In just 2 hours, you’ll discover hidden corners of the coast and see the picturesque village of Portofino from an unusual perspective: a brilliant way to escape the stresses of everyday life and treat yourself to a moment of relaxation!
What we will do
We’ll meet 30 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Portofino (GE). Our guide will be waiting for us with all the necessary equipment and, once the group has been formed, we’ll have an introductory briefing.
Once the briefing is over, we’ll set off on our kayaking tour of Portofino! We’ll start by paddling peacefully through the waters of the Marine Protected Area, admiring the stunning hues of the sunset.
Right from the start, we’ll be enchanted by Portofino’s picturesque little harbour , and we’ll gradually leave the village behind as we paddle along the stretch leading to the lighthouse, admiring coves and inlets accessible only by sea.
We’ll then return to the area around Niasca beach, nestled amongst the greenery of the Mediterranean scrub, where we can relax with a swim in the emerald waters of Paraggi Bay. Back on board the kayak, if we’re lucky, we might spot grey herons, cormorants and even dolphins.
And to round off the day, once we’ve reached the starting point, we’ll enjoy an aperitif featuring typical Ligurian specialities, accompanied by local wine or soft drinks.
The activity will last approximately 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 10; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult during the activity.
Swimming skills are required to participate.
The activity is easy and no previous kayaking experience is necessary.
Other information
The activity takes place from June to September and is confirmed when there are at least 2 participants, subject to weather and sea conditions.
The experience takes place in double kayaks.
There is limited parking on site, so we recommend reaching the meeting point by public transport or on foot/by bicycle.
On site there are changing rooms, showers and lockers to leave your personal belongings in.
Any accompanying persons can wait on the beach adjacent to the meeting point.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
