Full description
Join a 2-hour basic kitesurfing course in Porto Cesareo and become familiar with this fun water sport.
With your instructor, you will learn the basics, how to correctly mount the equipment, get to know the safety systems, pilot the kite and get carried away by the waves without losing your balance.
It will be an unforgettable experience full of excitement to be enjoyed individually or in pairs!
What we will do
The appointment, 10 minutes before the time selected during the booking process, is in Torre Lapillo, a hamlet in the municipality of Porto Cesareo. On your arrival you will be welcomed by theinstructor, who will hand you thenecessary equipment (included).
Before moving on to the practical phase, the characteristics of the bar, its safety systems and the kite will be explained to you so that you can master them at their best.
The kite will have shorter lines than the standard size (10 metres), a choice that will give you a good understanding of what it means to fly the kite and to practise the basic movements of this sport.
The second step will involve learning to manoeuvre in the most diverse situations in order to gain fluency in handling the kite. For example, you will learn how to traverse the entire wind window with your kite, learning the body drag position and the board start manoeuvre.
At this point, if you are ready, it will be time to enter the water to put into practice what you have learnt, always accompanied by your instructor.
The course lasts a total of 2 hours, including lessons on the beach and in the water.
Who it is aimed at
The course is suitable for everyone over the age of 14 and is aimed at those who have never tried kitesurfing.
No specific skills are required; the minimum weight for the activity is 40 kg.
Other information
The activity is available all year round, weather permitting, and is intended for private groups of up to 3 people.
For beginners, the lesson will begin on the beach and end in the water only if the minimum learning conditions are reached.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; parking is available on site.
