Have fun trying kitesurfing, the water sport that promises you plenty of adrenaline and unique sensations of freedom. You will have your own instructor at your disposal, who will teach you how to take your first steps with the kite.
Don't know what kitesurfing is? It is the water discipline practised on the world's most beautiful beaches: from Hawaii to Cape Verde, via Brazil and the Canary Islands. It involves gliding over the surface of the water dragged by the wind aboard a board, manoeuvring a bar to which a kite (the kite) is attached.
The private lesson will be held by the 2019 Italian Kitesurfing Champion, Piercarlo Ricasoli, Coni - Fiv Instructor, or a member of his team. Who better than them will be able to teach you the techniques and secrets of kiting?
What we will do
You will meet your instructor on the Latium coastline near Anzio (RM), one of the best kitesurfing locations in Italy. The exact spot may vary depending on wind conditions, but don't worry, you will be informed by the instructor a few days before the activity.
The introductory kitesurfing lesson focuses on a fundamental point of the discipline: controlling the kite, without a board. In fact, manoeuvring this equipment is not as simple as flying a kite and deserves proper attention. First the instructor will give you some wind knowledge, teach you how to prepare yourequipment and explain how to handle the kite in flight. All you have to do is listen and practice a lot.
You will start with small kites with little pull. When you have mastered the correct movements and position, you will move on to larger kites and more advanced techniques. After a short time you will be surprised to be able to handle these kites independently, without the support of the instructor.
The introductory lesson lasts 1 hour and takes place on the beach or in the sea near the shore, without a board. At the end, if you enjoyed the discipline, the instructor will show you the next steps to learn how to kite.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is easy and suitable for everyone, and does not require any experience in sea sports. Although it takes place on the beach or in shallow water, it is necessary to be able to swim and have good aquatic skills (a buoyancy aid vest will be provided). The minimum age is 12 years and minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Attention! Please arrive approximately 30 minutes before the start of the activity.
The activity is exclusive (it is just you and the instructor) and can be booked all year round.
Showers and changing rooms are not provided.
At the end of the lesson you will be sent complimentary photos of your experience.
The activity is strongly influenced by weather conditions. Therefore, the venue and the scheduled programme may be subject to change. You will be informed by the instructor a few days in advance.
