Don't let the farmer know how good cheese with pears is.
And yet Stefano, the guide of our cheesemaker's day in the province of Bergamo, knows: during a cheese workshop, you will learn more about the production of this gastronomic excellence and make your own primosale. You will also sample other local products during a tasting session or lunch at an agritourism.
A 3-hour experience in the (soft) heart of the Orobian Pre-Alps!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point in Onore (BG). We will find the guide waiting for us, who will accompany us on this (delicious) adventure!
Having gathered all the participants and after an initial welcome, we will take on the role of cheesemaker at the cheese workshop: we will delve into the cheese-making process, step by step, until we produce our own organic milk primosale! This part will last about 1½ hours.
This will be followed by a tasting session or lunch at the farm: if we select the morning time, we will have lunch with starter, first course, main course, dessert, water and coffee; if we select the afternoon time, we will enjoy a platter of cold cuts, cheese, dessert, water and coffee. The menu is based on local products and it couldn't be otherwise: we are in the heart of the Orobie, in the shadow of the Presolana massif, where the excellence of organic milk is produced! This part will last about 1. 5 hours.
The experience will last about 3 hours in total.

The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up. Children under the age of 18 may participate unaccompanied.

The experience takes place all year round on the dates indicated in the calendar (constantly updated) and is confirmed when the minimum number of 4 participants is reached.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
