With this experience in the province of Bergamo you can set off on a pleasant walk with llamas and alpacas, discover how these animals communicate and admire the beautiful landscapes of the Imagna Valley.
Moreover, you can end the activity with a delicious picnic on a farm!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Sant'Omobono Terme (BG). Awaiting us will be our guide, who will welcome us at the farm and explain how to interact with the alpacas and llamas properly!
We will enter their space, pet them and brush them for about 30 minutes. Once trust has been established, we will set off on our walk, leading an alpaca or llama with a lunger.
Together with our new friends, we will walk through the mountains of the Imagna Valley, covering a route of about 6 km, on dirt road and with a slight difference in altitude. Along the way, we will stop several times to pet the animals, take a few souvenir photos or admire the view as we catch our breath. It will be a fun trek that will allow us to form a nice relationship with our fellow adventurers (human and otherwise! ).
After about 2½ hours of activity, we will return to the starting point, say goodbye to our llamas and alpacas, and have a picnic (included) under a pergola. We will sample cold meats, cheese, omelettes, locally produced fruit and vegetables, as well as a main dish (lasagna or cold rice, depending on the season) . Everything will be accompanied by house wine, soft drinks and, of course, coffee and llama biscuits!
The activity will last an approximate total of 3 hours, depending on the duration of the picnic.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 8 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The experience is not accessible to people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility.

The experience takes place all year round at weekends and on public holidays and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 5 participants.

Dogs are not allowed.
There is free parking on site reserved for hotel guests. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
