So much for 'flying low': show everyone that you can fly on water if you want to.
It's not just a figure of speech: during this private 1-hour e-foil lesson you will stand up with your feet on an electric board that glides on the surface of the water, while the sea of Torre del Lago Puccini flows beneath you.
Following you step by step will be a qualified instructor , ready to guide you in your first approach to this discipline!
What we will do
The rendezvous is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Torre del Lago Puccini, a hamlet of Viareggio (LU).
Awaiting you on the beach will be yourinstructor, who will be at your side throughout the activity and will guide you step by step in the discovery of e-foil.
You will start with a briefing on land lasting about 15 minutes, during which you will learn how the controller that regulates your gait works and how to deal with any falls in the water (yes, these are also part of the game). You will also be provided with the necessaryequipment.
You will then get into the action: you will spend 45 minutes in the water to get familiar with the electric board, which will rise up to 80 cm above the surface thanks to its integrated hydrofoil.
The instructor will follow you on board another board or, if necessary, on a jet ski.
Being a private lesson, it will be possible to adapt it to your level, but your goal will be to be able to keep your balance and manoeuvre independently, even if it is your first time.
The lesson will last about 1 hour in total .
Who it is aimed at
The activity is aimed at participants aged 18 and over.
No previous experience is necessary, but knowing how to swim is essential.
People who are pregnant or have mobility problems cannot participate for safety reasons.
Other information
The experience takes place from June to September.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport. There are free parking spaces and/or parking fees on site.
On site you will find showers and toilets, and you can leave your personal belongings on the beach in a secure storage room.
Any accompanying persons can wait on the beach.
