Have you ever flown a glider?
If the answer is no, you can also try this new experience by taking part in our flying lesson: together with a professional pilot, you will practise the basics of gliding during a flight lasting about 25-60 minutes with the Julian Alps on the horizon. And yes, you will be able to try taking control of the aircraft!
An experience lasting 1½ hours in total, between land and sky in the province of Udine.
What we will do
I will be waiting for you 30 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Premariacco (UD). You will be welcomed by me, your pilot!
The experience will begin with a briefing during which I will give you all the information you need for our flying lesson, from the theory of gliding to the basics of soaring. I will then accompany you to the aircraft, which will be a glider: here I will explain behavioural and safety rules, before proceeding with boarding.
We will climb aboard, ready for take-off: after an initial tow, once at an altitude of around 1,000 metres, the glider will detach itself and begin its descent using only the updrafts. During the flight, which lasts approximately 25-60 minutes, we will practice the basics of gliding; after showing you the controls, you will be able to try piloting the aircraft using dual controls!
After waving goodbye to the beautiful panorama of the Julian Alps, which are only about 8 km away from the flight site, we will return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 1.5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up; children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or have signed authorisation from both parents.
Good health is required to participate in this activity; no respiratory or cardiac problems.
The maximum height to participate in this activity is 1.90 m and the maximum weight is 100 kg.

Caution! Glider flying is an activity strictly dependent on weather and wind conditions; feasibility and time of the experience may vary according to the pilot's judgement.
The experience takes place all year round depending on weather and wind conditions at the pilot's discretion.
The duration of the flight is variable as it depends on the weather/wind conditions; 25 minutes of flight time are guaranteed.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
The aircraft will be an ASK-21 or Janus glider depending on availability.
The theoretical part of the experience may be shared with other participants; the practical part will be carried out individually with the pilot.
During the flight it is possible to take photos with one's own action cam or smartphone.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
