Has kitesurfing always fascinated you, but you fear that it takes too much effort to learn?
Let me reassure you: this is not the case at all. This water sport, which combines elements of surfing, windsurfing and paragliding, is surprisingly simple and a lot of fun to practice.
Join a one-hour lesson in Dervio, on Lake Como, and learn how to glide over the water pulled by a kite from an experienced instructor. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
The appointment is at the time selected when booking in Dervio, on Lake Como, where the instructor will be waiting for us. We will be followed by an instructor recognised by the International Kiteboarding Organisation (IKO).
The lesson will be divided into two parts: a theory part and a practical part, both about 30 minutes long. During the first part of the lesson, the instructor will teach us the basics of the sport and explain how to use the equipment correctly.
After the theory phase, we will move on to the practical part: wearing a safety jacket and helmet with radio, we will enter the water. The helmet with radio will allow us to be in constant contact with the instructor, who will not need to raise his voice to give us directions.
For about 30 minutes we will launch ourselves into the thrills of kitesurfing on the magnificent Lake Como. This practical session will not only allow us to apply what we have learned, but will also give us the opportunity to feel the power of the wind and the excitement of this sport.
The lesson will last approximately one hour in total.
Who it is aimed at
The lesson is aimed at everyone from 8 years of age and over 40 kg.
It is not necessary to know how to swim, just to be comfortable in the water.
Other information
The activity is held from May to September every day of the week.
Changing rooms, toilet, shower and an area for leaving personal belongings are available at the venue.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport, while those arriving by car can use the pay car park.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
