Full description
Kitesurfing is one of the most adrenalin-pumping and exciting water sports, as it will have you gliding over the waves thanks to the buoyancy of the wind and a kite. Try it with a one-hour lesson in Tarquinia, a short distance from Rome.
Together with a qualified instructor, you will learn the basics of how to best handle a kite and the essential procedures for facing the sea, waves and wind with awareness.
Kitesurfing requires no special physical skills: it can be practised by anyone, adults and children alike, and does not require great strength. If you are curious to try it out, all you have to do is book your place!
What we will do
The appointment is in Tarquinia, a short distance from Rome. We will be welcomed by an experienced and qualified instructor who will provide us with the necessary equipment, i.e. the kitesurf and buoyancy jacket.
The lesson will be customised according to one's specific skills. Newcomers will be taught the basic dynamics of kitesurfing in order to be able to have their first experience in the water, the safety rules to be respected and the basics of handling a kite.
After an initial theoretical part, we will move into the water to put into practice what we have learnt. Through the instructor's guidance, we will have the opportunity to have fun and learn how to glide over waves safely, mastering the force of the wind.
More experienced kiters, on the other hand, will have the opportunity to improve their skills and get to grips with all the riding techniques and wing settings. The lesson lasts one hour in all.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to everyone, the important thing is to be able to swim. The minimum age for participation is 12 years.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
