Learn the art of catamaran sailing and let the wind carry you over the crystal-clear waters of the Gulf of Marinella on the Costa Smeralda, just a few kilometres from Olbia and Porto Rotondo.
With a one-hour private lesson, an experienced instructor will teach you how to take your first steps on this beautiful boat or, if you already have experience, help you improve your technique to go further and further.
What we will do
You will meet your instructor at the sailing school on the beach in Marinella, a few kilometres from Olbia, Golfo Aranci and Porto Rotondo. After a cognitive briefing to assess your level, you will be ready to begin!
A lightweight catamaran , also suitable for beginners, will be used for the lesson. Generally speaking, being a multihull boat, the catamaran is faster and more stable than a monohull boat and can be the ideal choice for approaching the world of sailing sports.
Together with the instructor, you will learn about winds, how to handle theequipment and become familiar with the catamaran. Then you will enter the sea to experience the sensation of sailing and, depending on your level and the wind conditions, practice the main gaits and manoeuvres.
Who it is aimed at
Private catamaran lessons are open to participants of all levels, aged 5 and up. Swimming ability is compulsory.

This activity is bookable from April to October, subject to weather and wind conditions.
After booking, you can get in touch with the instructor to communicate your level and, if necessary, make preliminary arrangements.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
