If windsurfing has always fascinated you but you've never had the chance to try it, this is your chance. With a 1.5-hour private lesson, you can learn the basics of windsurfing and, why not, start a new and exciting path!
A windsurfing instructor will be with you in Arolo, in the province of Varese, to teach you the basics of this sport from the theoretical aspect, such as the various components of the equipment, through to the practical aspect, such as the start and the various paces.
Don't wait any longer: experience for yourself the thrill of gliding over the waves using the power of the wind, what windsurfers call 'wind addiction'.... you won't be able to do without!
What we will do
The meeting point is at the marina in Arolo (VA), on Lake Maggiore. Here you will be welcomed by theinstructor and, after introductions, he will assess your level to tailor the lesson to your needs.
Whether you are a neophyte or an absolute beginner, you will be introduced to the fantastic world of windsurfing. In the first theory part, the instructor will briefly explain the various components of the equipment, how to handle them safely and you will learn more about the theory of sailing. Afterwards, you'll get into the water to put what you've learned into practice and try your hand at the first starts and manoeuvres.
If you are a more experienced wind surfer, you can improve your technique and style by learning advanced manoeuvres, depending on your goals.
The lesson lasts a total of approximately 1½ to 2 hours depending on the option selected when booking.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from 8 years of age. Participants up to 17 years of age receive a reduced rate: 1 participant €50.00 per person, 2 participants €40.00 per person for the 1 ½-hour lesson; please contact us to make a booking request with underage participants.
Swimming ability required.
Other information
The activity can be booked from April to October, subject to weather conditions.
The lesson is individual, with a dedicated instructor. However, there is the possibility of sharing the lesson with a friend, using the windsurfing and SUP board in alternating shifts, by making a booking for 2 people at a reduced rate.
In the colder months, wetsuits can be requested free of charge.
