Have you never been on a sailing boat? Would you like to try handling the helm like a real captain, sailing on the beautiful sea of Elba?
Join our 2½-hour sailing lesson in Marina di Campo and learn the basics of how to steer a drift, a small sailing boat. An experienced instructor will be at your side to reveal all the secrets of this sport, from nomenclature to basic manoeuvres.

What we will do
We will meet at the time agreed at the time of booking on the beach at Marina di Campo (LI). Here I will be there to welcome you, a federal sailing instructor.
Together we will board a small sailing boat, called a dinghy. Thanks to its manoeuvrability, it is considered ideal as a first approach to the world of sailing.
We will begin with the theory part, lasting about an hour, in which we will learn the basic nomenclature of the elements that make up a sailing boat, how it works, and some fascinating anecdotes about the sport and the wind rose.
After that, it will be time for practice: while sailing, I will give you all the basics of sailing a dinghy, from basic manoeuvres to weight distribution on board. You will discover the beauty of sailing on the sea on the strength of the wind alone and, taking the helm, you will feel like a real captain!
We will sail in the waters of the Gulf of Marina di Campo, between the beaches of Fonza, Galenzana and Marina di Campo itself, where we will return after a 2 ½-hour lesson.

The activity is aimed at everyone from the age of 6 years.

The activity takes place all year round, weather permitting.
The choice of boat - dinghy - will be the one best suited to the requirements of the experience(Trident 16, Catamaran, Topaz, etc.).
The life jacket, which is compulsory equipment, will be provided on site.

The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund!
