Full description
Ever thought of visiting Agrigento by skateboard? We bet not! Combine sport and tourism with this skate lesson between San Leone and the capital of Agrigento with an expert instructor.
After putting on your protections, you will begin a first theoretical-practical part to get familiar with the board and test yourself directly on the road, with a tour through the streets of San Leone or Agrigento. Along the way, you will be able to stop and taste some typical Sicilian gastronomic delicacies.
The skate lesson will thus become an opportunity to have fun and visit one of Sicily's most beautiful locations in an alternative way.
What we will do
We will meet up in San Leone, where our instructor will be waiting for us with everything we need for the lesson, i.e. protections and our skateboard. We will use either a classic streetskate or a surfskate, i.e. a special board used for surf training on land.
We will start the lesson with a first theoretical and demonstration part during which we will learn the simplest movements and work on balance. After that, we will be able to test ourselves directly on the road.
The location of the skate tour may vary depending on the season and the participants' requests. We could choose a skate tour along the streets of San Leone to discover the small town, a seaside hamlet of Agrigento and the town's main lido a short distance from the mouth of the river of the same name. We will visit the harbour and the historic centre with our instructors as our guides.
Or we can choose to travel by van to Agrigento. We will thus cross the Valley of the Temples with our instructors, who are in love with the place, to act as our guides.
During the skate ride we will also stop to taste some tasty Sicilian specialities, such as arancini or panelle, delicious fritters made with chickpea flour. The lesson will thus turn into a fun and alternative way of discovering the beauty of Sicily.
The total duration of the activity will be 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
Both adults and children from 6 years of age can participate. No previous skateboarding experience is necessary as the class is also open to beginners.

Lessons are held all year round, every day, weather permitting.
When booking, you can choose between different packages: '1 lesson', '2 lessons' or '3 lessons'. In the case of packages of several lessons, these may be held on consecutive or non-consecutive days, depending on the arrangements made with the organiser.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
