Come to Brindisi for a private Wing Foil lesson and learn the basics of this discipline.
In the company of your instructor and with the wind blowing, nothing will stop you!
What we will do
The meeting will take place at the meeting point in the Saline di Punta della Contessa Regional Nature Park in Brindisi, 15 minutes before the time agreed upon at the time of booking.
Awaiting you will be your wing foil instructor, with whom you will learn the basics of this adrenaline-pumping activity. Following his advice, you will experience the unique thrill of gliding over the water while admiring the splendour of the Apulian landscape.
The private lesson will consist of an initial theoretical part on land, lasting about half an hour, during which you will be taught the notions useful for getting into the action. You will be introduced to theequipment and terminology of the wing foil, attend an explanation of safety procedures, and then move on to understand wind direction and water conditions.
During this first part on land, you will understand the principles of wind and how they affect wing handling, while also learning basic wing foil control techniques. Having completed the review of safety procedures, it will be time to try your hand at wing handling in shallow water. You will try'pumping' practice, checking wing angle and body positioning.
If the instructor assesses your level as intermediate or advanced, you will have the opportunity to go beyond the beginner lesson , practising the rules of sailing as a true wing foil expert!
The private lesson will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for everyone; the minimum age requirement is 12 years, with a minimum weight of 35 kg.
Swimming skills are required for this activity.
Other information
The activity is exclusive and available from June to August.
There are up to 3 instructors on site, allowing for a maximum of 3 private lessons at the same time.
The beach where the activity takes place is not equipped and no lockers or facilities are available .
Any accompanying persons (also with dogs) may freely stay on the beach during the lesson.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport; parking is available on site.
