In the Langhe there is a place where wine and art meet: the hills of Monforte d'Alba, where even the landscape looks like an open-air gallery.
Savour this beauty with an exclusive stay for 2 people: one night in the castle guesthouse with breakfast included, access to the infinity pool overlooking the vineyards, guided tour of the winery and wine tasting in the Sala Einaudiana of the Perno Castle.

What we will do
Check-in is from 3 p. m. to 6 p. m. at the Castello di Perno Winery in Castelletto, in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba (CN) .
You will stay in a double suite in the guest quarters, embellished with contemporary art details. Each room is equipped with a double bed, private bathroom with shower, toilet, sink and bidet, eco-friendly products, hairdryer, bed linen and towels, air conditioning and heating, free Wi-Fi, smart TV, kettle and mini bar.
Outside you will find an unheated infinity pool overlooking the vineyards, sun loungers and parasols, as well as a designer living area under the porch, with a view of the Serralunga castle.
Breakfast is included and is served from 9am to 10am, with baked goods, dry pastries, yoghurt, cold meats, cheeses, fruit juices and coffee.
The visit to the wine cellar will take place in the same building as the guesthouse, where your journey through art and wine will begin. You can arrange the time after booking: usually at 11: 00 a. m. or 2: 30 p. m. , either on the day of arrival or departure. After a short presentation, you will visit the winemaking rooms and the cooperage, and then walk through the vineyard surrounding the estate. You will then drive to the nearby Castello di Perno, the historic residence of the publisher Giulio Einaudi and today the Cultural Association of Contemporary Arts.
You will visit the rooms on the first floor, among works of art, memorabilia and spectacular views of the Langhe, until you reach the Sala Einaudiana, the former library where writers of the calibre of Primo Levi, Italo Calvino and Cesare Pavese worked. Here, a tasting of four wines - Langhe Nascetta DOC, Barbera d'Asti DOCG, Langhe Nebbiolo DOC and Barolo DOCG - will take place, accompanied by a platter of cold meats and cheeses. The duration of the experience is approximately 3 hours.

Attention! The meeting point is at the Perno Castle Winery, not at Perno Castle, which is 6 km away and will be visited during the experience.
The experience is available all year round. Check-in is from 15: 00 to 18: 00, check-out by 10: 30.
The tasting is not exclusive and may take place in the company of other participants.
Small dogs are allowed on the premises.

Excluded from the fee is the tourist tax of €1. 50 per person per night, payable on site in cash or by debit card.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. The experience requires transfers by own vehicle. Electric charging stations are available.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 15 days from the activity start date. Within 14 and 8 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
