An experience that captures all the flavour of a Sunday lunch (but one you can enjoy whenever you like) .
At Tenuta Santa Maria Valverde in Marano di Valpolicella (VR), a gastronomic journey awaits you, dedicated to one of the most beloved recipes of the Verona region: bollito! Prepared according to the traditional family recipe, it will be served accompanied by the ever-present homemade pearà.
The perfect opportunity to gather round the table and enjoy an authentic culinary experience that celebrates the genuine conviviality of days gone by!
What we will do
The event will take place at the selected time at the Tenuta Santa Maria Valverde in Marano di Valpolicella (VR), set against the backdrop of the renowned Valpolicella hills. We will be met by the staff, who will welcome us and show us to our seats.
Once seated at the table, we’ll begin our lunch, celebrating Veronese culinary tradition. The guide will tell us about the history and traditional preparation of ‘bollito misto’, a historic dish prepared with care and patience according to recipes handed down from generation to generation.
We will then be served the main course: a steaming, hearty mixed boiled meat dish, accompanied by the indispensable and authentic ‘pearà’, the famous local sauce made from bread cooked slowly over a long period and generously seasoned with black pepper.
To round off our culinary journey in the best possible way, we’ll also enjoy a delicious homemade dessert. Lunch includes coffee, mineral water, bread and a service charge. Wine and additional drinks are not included but can be purchased separately on site, choosing your preferred label from the winery’s range.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
