We look forward to welcoming you to Barate di Gaggiano, just outside Milan, for a refined and surprising food and wine experience , set amidst the tranquillity of the Lombard countryside.
You’ll enjoy an exclusive surprise tasting menu of 4 or 5 courses ( of your choice) , where local culinary tradition meets contemporary techniques and the finest ingredients, in elegant dining rooms and a light-filled veranda.
What we will do
The event will take place at the selected time at the Antica Osteria Magenes in Barate di Gaggiano (MI), just outside Milan.
On arrival, the restaurant staff will be on hand to welcome us with a glass of champagne at our table, either in the cosy dining rooms, on the glass-fronted veranda or in the private garden.
When booking, you can choose between:
- a 4-course menu: chef’s starter , appetiser, first course, dessert
- 5-course menu: chef’s amuse-bouche, starter, first course, main course, dessert
The entire menu will be a surprise journey of discovery through the flavours of the Lombardy region, featuring local ingredients reimagined with a modern twist. You’ll be able to sample refined starters, first courses based on rice and saffron, and main courses showcasing the finest regional traditions, such as game and poultry.
Lunch or dinner includes artisan bread, water and coffee, rounding off a moment of convivial sophistication.
The experience will last approximately 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is recommended for those aged 18 and over. For children , options from the à la carte menu or special alternatives are available on request, provided this is notified after the booking has been confirmed.
The venue is accessible to people with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs and has dedicated toilet facilities.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
