How does the saying go? An appetite comes with eating! Or, in this case, it would be better to say ‘drinking’.
In Diano d’Alba, a wine tasting awaits you , serving as the prelude to a lunch or dinner featuring a traditional menu, allowing you to discover Piedmont’s culinary traditions.
After a tour of the winery, you’ll enjoy three glasses of wine, followed by a starter, a first course, a main course, dessert, coffee and a bottle of wine.

What we will do
The tour takes place at the selected time at the farmhouse of the Veglio Romano e Lorenzo Winery, in Diano d’Alba (CN). We will be welcomed by our guide, who will introduce us to the history of the winery: a family-run wine-producing business.
We’ll begin the experience with a walk through the vineyard (weather permitting) and a tour of the winery. Afterwards, we’ll be shown to the cosy tasting room or the panoramic terrace ( depending on the season) , with views of Grinzane Cavour Castle and the Langhe hills.
The wine tasting includes a selection of three wines (one white or rosé and two reds of your choice) . Once the tasting is over, we’ll move on to a traditional lunch or dinner.
The menu includes:
- 2 starters
- a first course of your choice
- a main course of your choice with a side dish
- a house dessert of your choice
All dishes will be prepared using produce from our farm or neighbouring farms, in keeping with the season. Each course will be paired with 1 bottle of wine of your choice from the cellar (for every 2–3 people) .
The experience will last approximately 3 hours in total .
Who it is aimed at
The wine tasting is for adults only. Children up to the age of 10 may take part at a reduced rate of €20. 00 per person.
The venue is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed provided there are at least two participants.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
