"Make way, we're coming through. ..'. But where are we going? To Frascati, of course!
Here you will be welcomed by the family of the Merumalia estate for an experience that is not just a visit, but an invitation to the table!
In the company of a guide, you will in fact discover the winery and then sit down to a special lunch or dinner consisting of a seasonal menu paired with 3 glasses of the best organic wines in the area.
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at Tenuta Merumalia in Frascati (RM) , in the splendid setting of the Castelli Romani.
We will be welcomed by our guide, who will immediately take us to the terrace to admire the vineyards and the capital city on the horizon. We will begin our tour with a walk through the organic rows, discovering how the company takes care of the land to obtain excellent grapes.
The visit will continue inside the production cellar, where the guide will explain the philosophy and processing steps that give life to the estate's wines.
After discovering the secrets of winemaking, we will move on to the tastiest part of the experience: we will sit on the terrace (weather permitting) or in our bright tasting room for a full lunch or dinner.
The menu, which changes weekly to respect nature's cycles, includes a gastronomic journey consisting of 2 starters, 1 main course and 1 dessert. Each course will be made with fresh ingredients from small local producers.
During the meal, we will taste 3 glasses of organic wine, carefully selected and matched to the dishes to enhance their flavours.
The experience will last about 2½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for 18 year olds and above.
The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Accompanying minors can participate at a cost of €15 (free for children up to 4 years old) , while for teetotal adults the fee is €58.
The venue is accessible to people with mobility problems or with a pushchair: contact the organiser to communicate your needs at the contact details indicated in the booking confirmation e-mail.
Other information
The experience takes place all year round. In the event of bad weather, the activity may take place entirely indoors in the winery and tasting room.
Options are available for people with food allergies and intolerances: please contact the winery at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to communicate any special requirements.
For those who wish, it will be possible to request on site (at an extra charge) the addition of a grappa and chocolate tasting or to supplement the menu with a premium proposal. If, on the other hand, you would like to extend your stay, the hotel also offers farmhouse services for lunch or overnight stay.
Dogs are allowed throughout the entire experience.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport, being only a 5-minute drive from the Frascati or Tor Vergata railway stations.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
