Can you feel that little peckishness too? In Frascati, just outside Rome, a traditional lunch awaits you at a farm holiday accommodation nestled amongst the vineyards and olive groves on the hills of the Castelli Romani.
You’ll enjoy a set menu featuring traditional seasonal dishes, paired with house wine or a carefully selected glass for each of the three courses, chosen from the range produced by the Tenuta di Pietra Porzia winery.
Whichever option you choose, the wine from the Castelli Romani won’t let you down!
What we will do
The event will take place at the time selected when booking at Tenuta di Pietra Porzia in Frascati (RM). You will be welcomed by the staff, who will open the doors to this historic designer estate, set amongst avenues of centuries-old cypress trees and vineyards stretching across the foothills of the Castelli Romani.
You will be shown to a table in the estate’s cosy dining room to begin your lunch. The meal consists of a set seasonal menu:
- Winter menu:
- Starter with PDO cured meats and cheeses, truffle bruschetta, green olives and a stew of pulses
- Pasta alla gricia
- Straccetti in red wine with mixed salad leaves, walnuts and honey
- Wine-flavoured ciambelline
- Summer menu:
- Caprese salad, prosciutto and melon, truffle bruschetta and chickpea salad
- Pasta with three types of tomato, basil sauce and salted ricotta
- Straccetti with Parmesan, rocket and balsamic vinegar, and mixed salad leaves with cherry tomatoes
- Fresh seasonal fruit
When booking, you can choose to accompany your meal with a carafe of house wine or opt for a wine pairing for each course, allowing you to sample a total of three wines produced by the estate’s winery, such as Malvasia del Lazio, Trebbiano, Montepulciano or Lecinaro.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 15 days from the activity start date. Within 14 and 8 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
