If, for you too, the table is the place where the best stories are born, the Azienda Agricola Giovanni Rosso in Serralunga d'Alba is your ideal destination.
An experience that combines the warmth of the territory with the nobility of great reds, including a guided tour of the cellar, exclusive barrel tastings and a lunch on the veranda where you can compose your perfect combination of typical dishes and excellent glasses!
What we will do
The appointment is at 11. 30 a. m. at the Azienda Agricola Giovanni Rosso in Serralunga d'Alba in the province of Cuneo, a place in the charming hills of Piedmont. We will be welcomed by our guide, ready to take us on a unique exploration of the combination of food and wine in the context of the territory.
We will begin with a visit to the winemaking area and the ageing rooms, where we will discover where the myth of Barolo was born. During the tour of the cellar we will experience the most authentic moment: the tasting of three different Barolos of the future vintage directly from the barrel, a sensory journey through time guided by the story of those who tend these vineyards.
We will then move to the charming veranda for lunch with tasting, where all the wines will be served at the same time and their various characteristics explained.
We can customise our experience by combining the following proposals:
- Classic Tasting: includes 3 cask wines followed by a choice of 3 wines by the glass from the cellar;
- Cru Tasting: an exclusive itinerary comprising 3 cask wines and 5 wines by the glass from the current vintage (Langhe Nebbiolo DOC, Barolo DOCG, Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d'Alba DOCG, Barolo Serra DOCG and Barolo Cerretta DOCG) .
For the gastronomic part, we can opt for:
- Cold light lunch: consisting of a platter of cold meats and cheeses and a single course of 3 traditional starters such as Russian salad, veal in tuna sauce and Fassona tartare;
- Hot Lunch: consisting of an encore of starters, agnolotti del Plin and dessert.
The experience will last approximately 2½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for 18 year olds and above.
Wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Any accompanying under-age persons may participate in the experience as "chaperones" with the price to be paid on site according to consumption.
The facility is accessible to persons with mobility problems on request, so that the visit can be organised in the best possible way.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 people.

- cold light lunch + Cru tasting: 105€

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
