You know that photo with the characteristic yellow landscape of the Crete Senesi, decorated with cypress trees and flown over by aneagle? Too good to be true, you might have thought.
Instead, this is precisely the scenario in which our encounter with birds of prey takes place: an animal trainer will introduce you to his eagle and buzzard, which you will get to know so well that you will call them to your fist!
An experience of over 1 hour, respecting these fascinating wild species.
What we will do
I will be waiting for you 5 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Asciano (SI), at La Croce. To welcome you there will be me, an animal trainer who will follow you on this adventure in the company of birds of prey!
When you arrive, I will introduce you to my eagle and my Harris's buzzard, the protagonists of this meeting and representatives of the world of birds of prey. I will then give an in-depth look at these wild species, introducing you to the world of falconry in the wild. Personally, I prefer to call myself an 'animal trainer' because I do not practice hunting using birds of prey, in respect of them.
And yes, of course you will be able to put on your falconer's glove and call in Harris's buzzard, which will land right on your fist! Everything will be made even more evocative by the splendid natural setting in which we will find ourselves, namely the scenic area of the Crete Senesi.
The experience will last a total of one and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 10 and up; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The experience is not suitable for people with disabilities.
Other information
The experience is available from January to December.
There is free parking on site along the road. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
During the experience, photos and videos will be taken with GoPro, which will then be shared by the organiser with participants via e-mail.
Any accompanying persons, who do not wish to carry out the experience, may attend the activity by paying the same fee as the participants.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
