Fancy venturing between unspoilt landscapes, film sets and ancient legends? The Cilento mini cruise is the experience for you.
An8-hour excursion awaits you to discover all the natural beauty of the Cilento, including caves, rocks, lighthouses, crystal-clear bays to dive into, and a lunch of Cilento specialities.
It will be a journey between nature and culture, during which you will discover some of the places made famous by the film 'Welcome to the South', explore theisland of Licosa where a mermaid seduced Ulysses , and visit the seaside village of Acciaroli, the inspiration for Hemingway's novel'The Old Man and the Sea'.
What we will do
We will meet at the port of Agropoli 15 minutes before the indicated time. After boarding, we will immediately set off on our Cilento mini-cruise.
During the navigation we will admire Punta Fortino, the Grotta dell'Elefante and the Lighthouse, and then pass by the Scoglio di San Francesco and the Scoglio di Trentova. We will make a first bathing stop at the beautiful Baia del Saùco, with its ancient Roman port, then head to Punta Tresino for a visit to the Protected Marine Area of Santa Maria di Castellabate.
From here we will head towards Cala S. Giovanni, Punta Pagliarolo and the abandoned village of Trezeni, on whose promontory a temple dedicated to Poseidon once stood. Then it will be the turn of some of the places made famous by the film "Benvenuti al Sud", such as the Zona Lago and Santa Maria le Gatte, the Pozzillo beach and the Greco-Roman port of San Marco di Castellabate.
The excursion will continue towards the fascinating Punta Licosa, a paradisiacal corner and unmissable destination in the Cilento National Park. We will circumnavigate the island, discovering the myths surrounding it: Licosa owes its name to the mermaid Leucosia, who tried to seduce Ulysses and his fleet with her song. From Licosa we will sail towards the Bay of Ogliastro Ripe Rosse, where we will make a second swimming stop with snorkelling.
The next stop will be Acciaroli, where we will disembark to visit the ancient fishing village that has always welcomed travellers and sailors. It was here that Ernest Hemingway, in the 1950s, met a local fisherman known as 'u vecchio'. This encounter was the inspiration for what later became his best-known work: 'The Old Man and the Sea'.
For lunch we will be given a lunch box. Adult menu: cold pasta with sun-dried tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella from Campania, basil and crumbled almonds; melamzane parmiggiana; ciambotta cilentana, bread, water. Children's menu: cold pasta with tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella from Campania and cutlet.
After lunch we will depart from the port of Acciaroli for a third stop to swim and snorkel at Licosa Island. We will reach the Port of Agropoli after about 8 hours of excursion.

Other information
The tour is available on Thursdays in July and August and is confirmed with a minimum of 10 participants.
Depending on availability, you will travel on one of the following boats
- motor catamaran with a 60-metre platform, with toilets, awning and capacity for 45 persons.
- 11 m motor boat with sanitary facilities, awning and capacity for 15 persons.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
