If you have always felt akin to Pippi Longstocking and her love for animals, discover farm life with this activity in the province of Pisa!
Spend a morning collecting the hens' eggs, learning how to take care of the animals and discovering all their most curious habits. You can ask your guide as many questions as you like about the farm's inhabitants and the amphibians that inhabit the surrounding green area, and you will enjoy a delicious homemade cake as a mid-morning snack.
At the end of the experience, you will stop by the farm for a delicious lunch of typical products including cold cuts, cheese, bruschetta with tomatoes and aubergines, and fruit and vegetables from the garden!
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in San Giuliano Terme (PI), where our animal expert guide will be waiting for us. After a short briefing of about 10 minutes during which the morning programme will be explained to us, we will begin our farm experience!
We will get to meet the animals right away, including chickens, rabbits, pigs, donkeys and the very friendly ponies Stella, Matilde and Adele. We will learn how to take care of them, interpret their behaviour and listen to the guide as he tells us some curious anecdotes about them. The surrounding green area will allow us to get in tune with nature and get a taste of farm life!
Mid-morning we will take a break of about 30 minutes for a snack (included) of tea or coffee and a delicious home-made cake. Then we will return to our animal friends and start the second part of the experience, which will have some exceptional protagonists: amphibians! This category includes endangered species, such as frogs, which we will be able to discover and observe.
In addition, during the experience we will be able to collect eggs from the hens and cuddle the most affectionate animals on the farm, among which there are also a few cats! It will be a fun morning that will allow us to admire the wonderful Tuscan hilly landscape while discovering a curious and fascinating rural reality.
At the end of the activities, we will refresh ourselves with a lunch of about an hour , based on delicious local products including cured meats, cheeses, vegetables from the garden, bushels of tomatoes and aubergines, and fruit.
The total duration of the experience, including briefing, snack and lunch, is 5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone without age limits. Unaccompanied minors under the age of 18 may participate subject to signing a waiver by a responsible adult.
The activity is suitable for people in wheelchairs or with walking difficulties.

The activity is available from February to June and from September to December and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 4 participants.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. Parking facilities are available in the vicinity.
During the experience, a snack of tea or coffee and a homemade cake will be offered, as well as a lunch of local products including cold meats, cheeses, seasonal vegetables, bruschetta with tomatoes and aubergines, and fruit. In case of allergies and intolerances, you can request an alternative via the contact details you will receive in your booking confirmation e-mail.
Dogs are allowed on the farm if kept on a leash.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
