Full description
If you want to discover a fascinating and mysterious place, you cannot miss the motorboat tour to the Grotte del Bue Marino.
The excursion will take you to the cave entrance where you can then join a guided tour and walk into the caves.
On board you will have the opportunity to relax, sunbathe, and admire the breathtaking panorama you will sail past.
What we will do
The meeting point is the port of Cala Gonone. Here, before embarking, we will have to purchase the entrance ticket to the caves at a cost of 10€ per person (not included in the participation fee).
Once settled on board, we will be ready to depart. We will head for the Bue Marino Caves, a karstic system that stretches more than 70 km inland. During the navigation we will be able to admire the turquoise-coloured sea overlooked by impervious cliffs.
After about 20 minutes we reach theentrance to the cave. The cave is divided into two branches, north and south, and at the junction of these the meeting of fresh water and sea water is clearly visible. The resurgences create spectacular reflections, even near the mouths.
Experienced guides will accompany us on an approximately 800-metre-long, artificially illuminated path crossed by a wide wooden footbridge.
The guided tour inside the cave will take about 1 hour. Afterwards, we will re-board the motorboat to return to the port in Cala Gonone. The total duration of the activity is about 2 hours.

The tour runs daily from April to October.
It is necessary to arrive 30 minutes before the time indicated on the booking confirmation in order to allow for boarding.
The entrance fee to the cave costs €10 per person and is payable on site.
The motor vessel Don Vincenzo can carry up to 220 passengers and is equipped with all comforts such as bar service and WC. You will be provided with anaudio guide in four languages (English, French, German, Spanish) who will explain in detail the wonders of the Gulf of Orosei.
Small dogs can be brought on board.
Children up to 3 years old are free.

The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
