There are places that take your breath away. The Bue Marino Caves are one of them.
Climb aboard the motorboat and enjoy a pleasant cruise along the spectacular coastline of the Gulf of Orosei: with cliffs plunging into the sea, hidden coves and crystal-clear waters, the scenery will already be part of the adventure.
The real surprise, however, awaits you on arrival. After disembarking, you’ll take part in a guided tour lasting around 1 hour inside the Bue Marino Caves, exploring tunnels, enormous natural chambers and small lakes with incredible hues!
What we will do
Please arrive at the port of Cala Gonone at least 30 minutes before the time selected when booking. Before boarding the motorboat, we will purchase the entrance ticket to the caves at a cost of €10 per person (not included in the price) .
Then we’ll set sail! After a 20-minute boat trip, we’ll reach one of the most fascinating spots in the Gulf of Orosei. On the way, we can relax on deck and admire the turquoise sea, the towering limestone cliffs and the spectacular wild coastline that makes this part of Sardinia so famous.
Once we arrive, we’ll begin a guided tour lasting around one hour inside the Grotte del Bue Marino, an extraordinary karst complex that stretches for over 70 km inland. You’ll walk about 800 metres along a comfortable wooden walkway, passing through large natural chambers, striking rock formations and spots where fresh water meets the sea, creating truly stunning plays of light and reflections.
At the end of the tour, we’ll return to the motorboat for the return journey to the port of Cala Gonone. The total duration of the experience is approximately 2 hours.

The tour runs daily from April to October.
You must arrive 30 minutes before the time stated on your booking confirmation to allow time for boarding.
The entrance ticket to the cave costs €10 per person and is to be paid on the spot.
The motor vessel Don Vincenzo can carry up to 220 passengers and is equipped with all amenities, including a bar and toilets. You will be provided with an audio guide in four languages (English, French, German, Spanish) which will give you a detailed account of the wonders of the Gulf of Orosei.
Small dogs may be brought on board, provided they are carried in your arms.
Near the meeting point, there is a free car park with a shuttle service costing €3. 00 per person, payable in cash on site, which takes you to the boarding point in just 3 minutes.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
