Don't miss a fantastic boat excursion from Castellammare del Golfo to discover the beautiful coves of the Zingaro Nature Reserve and reach San Vito Lo Capo, a pretty town in north-western Sicily that you can visit on foot or relax on its beach.
Get ready to discover the beautiful crystal-clear sea that laps Sicily's first Nature Reserve with a full-day boat tour.
The captain and crew will accompany you on your discovery of the beautiful sites, while you can take plenty of souvenir photos and be enchanted by the breathtaking scenery.
What we will do
We will meet 50 minutes in advance at the meeting point in Castellammare del Golfo. We will be welcomed by the staff on board the motorboat and at 9:20 we will set off on the tour that will take us to the Zingaro Nature Reserve and San Vito lo Capo.
We will visit the Grotta della Vucciria, Grotta Madonnina, and Grotta Colombi. We will walk alongside them and admire the colours of which the water is tinged when light passes through the cracks in the rock.
The Zingaro Nature Reserve will leave us breathless and Cala Uzzo will be the beach of choice to enjoy our first, well-deserved swim stop; the swim stop will take place offshore.
Once back on board, we will continue sailing towards San Vito Lo Capo, which we will reach at 11.30 am. We will disembark and have 4 hours to visit this beautiful village. This will be an opportunity to try the famous cous cous and 'hot cold' ice cream, local culinary specialities. We will walk along the streets of San Vito Lo Capo and reach the beautiful white beach where we can relax and enjoy a swim in the clear waters.
At 15:30 we will re-board. On the way back, we will not miss afinal stop in Scopello, one of the most beautiful and evocative beaches in the gulf, famous for the Florio family's splendid Tonnara (tuna fishery) and the Faraglioni stacks that stand out against the sea; the bathing stop will take place offshore.
We will return to port in Castellammare at 17:30.

Other information
The tour runs from May to September. It is necessary to arrive at least 50 minutes before the start of the tour (scheduled at 9:20 a.m.).
Lunch is not included in the fee. It is possible to buy a typical tasting of cunsato bread on board for €5 (including a bottle of water). Alternatively, it will be possible to bring your own packed lunch.
On request, a bus transfer from Palermo to the port of Castellammare or Trapani is available at an extra cost of €25 per person. Contact the organiser after booking confirmation to receive details of departure time and meeting point.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
