It's a long way from Iceland, it's close to Padua. Quite the opposite of the Island of Elba!
Take part in our mini-cruise from Castiglione della Pescaia to the Island of Elba: board a comfortable motorboat and enjoy the navigation to Portoferraio. On site you can participate in guided tours for a fee or spend your free time at your leisure.
A one-day experience, discovering the Tuscan Archipelago!
What we will do
The rendezvous is 30 minutes before 09: 00 at the meeting point in Castiglione della Pescaia (GR) . On site we will meet the crew who will welcome us on board the motor vessel!
After boarding, at 09: 15 we will set sail from Castiglione della Pescaia for the Island of Elba; the navigation will last about 1 hour and 20 minutes each way. Once we reach our destination, we will disembark in Portoferraio: on site we will be able to take part in guided tours for a fee or spend our free time as we please.
We will return on board at 16: 45 and return to the meeting point at approximately 18: 30. The experience lasts a total of about 9 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult participant.
The boat is wheelchair accessible and equipped with a disabled toilet. A person with a certified 100% disability pays the full fare, while the accompanying person of that person participates free of charge: please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate your presence.
Other information
The trip takes place from June to September and is confirmed once the minimum number of 55 participants has been reached.
The duration and itinerary may vary depending on weather and sea conditions, at the skipper’s discretion.
The vessel is a motorboat equipped with air-conditioned lounges, a professional audio/video system, TV, LCD screens, a bar, a restaurant and facilities for disabled guests and those with reduced mobility.
The following guided tours are available from Portoferraio:
- Napoleonic Tour: a guided tour of the Napoleonic sites in the historic centre of Portoferraio. Payment is required on the spot, in cash or by card: €10. 00 per person aged 12 and over; €8. 00 per person aged 4 to 11; free for children aged 0 to 3. Contact the organiser using the details provided in your booking confirmation email to request the service.
- Snorkelling excursion with a qualified guide at Spiaggia delle Ghiaie. Payment of €35. 00 per person aged 12 and over is required on site, payable in cash or by card. Please contact the organiser using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email to book this service.
Small and medium-sized dogs on a lead, wearing a muzzle or in a pet carrier are permitted, subject to payment of a €5. 00 supplement per animal on site. The entry of animals to the islands, beaches and park areas is subject to the rules laid down by the Municipality of Isola del Giglio and the Tuscan Archipelago National Park. Free and paid parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
