Did you know that Salina is nicknamed the 'garden of the Aeolian Islands'? Explore this beautiful island, the second largest in the archipelago, on a 3-hour boat tour.
You will swim and snorkel in the most beautiful coves, far from the classic tourist routes. You will immerse yourself in the authentic atmosphere of its small villages, such as Pollara, location of the famous film Il postino with Massimo Troisi.

What we will do
The meeting point is from 10.30 am at one of the ports of Salina (Malfa, Santa Marina or Lingua). Here we will find a small motorboat waiting for us and, once we have completed boarding, we will set off on our tour of the island at around 11:00 am.
We will sail along Salina starting from Capo Faro where we will admire the perpendicular walls with their fascinating rock stratifications. Further on, we will see the small village of Malfa and the spectacular natural arch of Punta Perciato.
Arriving near Pollara, we will stop for a swim in its beautiful bay. It was here that the famous film with Massimo Troisi, Il postino, was filmed, which has had such an influence on the collective imagination. The landscape, which is very evocative, consists of the caldera of an exploded crater, half of which sinks below sea level.
We will then resume navigation towards Rinella, where we will make another stop for a swim in the sea and a tan on its black sand beach. Back on board, we will sail past a small lake at Lingua di Salina and then head towards Santa Marina di Salina, one of the liveliest towns on the island. Here we can take a stroll or sample some Aeolian specialities in one of the many bars and restaurants.
Return to the port of departure is scheduled for around 14.00 hours. The total duration of the activity will be 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children aged 0 to 3 years do not pay.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible.
Other information
The activity is available every day from May to September, subject to weather conditions.
Departure will be at 11.00 am from the port of Santa Marina, at 11.05 am from Lingua and at 11.30 am from Malfa. As the tour progresses, you will be contacted by the organisers for the assignment of the departure port.
The excursion takes place on board a small motor vessel with a cabin cruiser, which can accommodate up to 90 passengers. The boat has sunbathing areas and shaded indoor spaces, as well as toilets.
No animals are allowed on board.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
