Motorboat tour to Lipari and Vulcano from Capo d'Orlando

Sail for a day enjoying the magnificent scenery of the archipelago's islands, then go ashore and explore the beaches and historical monuments this area has to offer. Fun and relaxation are guaranteed!

What we will do

We will meet 30 minutes in advance at the meeting point in Capo D'Orlando (ME), where the boat on which we will conduct the tour will be waiting for us. After boarding and meeting the crew, we will set off for our day of discovery of the magnificent Aeolian Islands.

The first stop will be Lipari, where we will be greeted by the sight of the famous Faraglioni, rock formations that emerge from the sea and characterise the island. Here we will make a stop of about 2 hours during which we will go ashore to explore the main attractions of the area, including the Cathedral of San Bartolomeo, the Castle of Lipari, whose origins date back to prehistoric times, and theGeographical Observatory, from where there is a panoramic view of all the Aeolian Islands.

We will continue on to the island of Vulcano, which we will visit in a stop of about 2 hours. We will be able to relax by immersing ourselves in the thermal waters of the Baia delle Acque Calde and walk on the black sand, of volcanic origin, that characterises the Baia delle Sabbie Nere. If we wish, we can also venture up to the Crater of Vulcano and admire a wonderful panorama of the sea from above.

By the time we disembark at Vulcano, it will be time for lunch and we will be able to choose to stop at one of the restaurants affiliated with the activity organisers or, if we have brought a packed lunch, to eat it by the sea.

Back on board the boat, we will proceed with a slow navigation towards the starting point, which will allow us to enjoy the sea breeze and admire the wonderful scenery of the Aeolian archipelago.

The activity will last a total of 10 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Unaccompanied minors under the age of 18 may participate subject to signing a waiver by a responsible adult.

Children up to 3 years of age participate at a cost of €5, payable locally and in cash.

The boat is accessible to people in wheelchairs or with walking difficulties.

Other information

The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport , while there is ample free parking in the vicinity.

Theboat used for the activity is a motor vessel with a maximum capacity of 280 passengers and an average speed of 25 knots. There are bars, panoramic lounges and toilets on board.

The fee does not include lunch, which can be brought packed and eaten on board the boat. Alternatively, it will be possible to have lunch during one of the stops on the islands. Bicycles and scooters cannot be brought on board.

Furthermore, dogs are only allowed on board with prior authorisation (to be requested using the contact details you will receive in your booking confirmation email).
